“Capacity Building is whatever is needed to bring a nonprofit to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity, so it may more effectively and efficiently advance its mission into the future. Capacity Building is not a one-time effort to improve short-term effectiveness, but a continuous improvement strategy toward the creation of a sustainable and effective organization.” – National Council of Nonprofits (USA)
Capacity Building is the critical unseen and overlooked infrastructure that supports and shapes charitable nonprofits into effective life-saving entities, while sustaining themselves over time.
Capacity Building is an investment in the effectiveness and future sustainability of a nonprofit.
Our CareFor2020 Campaign aims to strengthen the nonprofit Philanthropic Development Offices (PDOs) in our ecosystem through various Capacity Building projects, programs and initiatives, thereby improving their abilities to accomplish their missions effectively and in sustainable ways.
Your contribution can help support these Capacity Building efforts to develop our PDOs’ competencies and skillsets making them more effective and sustainable, thereby increasing their potential to enrich lives and tackle society’s most challenging issues.
