“There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread, but there are many more dying for a little love.” ― Mother Teresa
The COVID-19 pandemic is of an unprecedented scale not seen before – with millions of people infected and the death toll reaching hundreds of thousands worldwide. Livelihoods have been destroyed, health systems completely overwhelmed, businesses and schools forced to close, and millions of families are struggling to survive. While help is being rendered globally to protect the most vulnerable communities, the socio-economic disruptions caused by the virus have also severely impacted the safety and well-being of marginalized children and the elderly poor.
Our CareFor2020 Campaign aims to give a quality of life to these marginalized children and the elderly poor, by caring for their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development and well-being.
The marginalized children include orphans, abandoned street children, abused children, children at risk of violence, children with broken spirits, children living with disabilities and malnourished children from impoverished families. Your contribution will allow them to experience the Fullness of Life by giving them a home, clothing, nutritious meals, school uniforms and supplies, proper medical care and education, so that they can grow and be nurtured in a safe and loving environment.
Your contribution will also house the elderly poor in a caring environment with proper healthcare, regular medical attention, well-balanced meals, and emotional support – allowing them to enjoy the Fullness of Life and live out their golden years healthily, happily and with dignity.
