The devastating COVID-19 crisis could destroy the livelihoods of nearly 1.6 billion people from the “informal economy”. With no means of income or access to financial resources, these informal workers and their families face insecurity, hunger and a hopeless future. If they don’t receive help, they will perish.
Our CareFor2020 Campaign aims to improve the lives of people experiencing poverty by creating livelihood opportunities, promoting gender equality and reducing income inequality. We hope to empower them with new skills, so that they can make a decent living to cover their essential needs.
Your contribution will sustain livelihood programs to train and equip disadvantaged women and vulnerable people with new knowledge and capabilities to be economically and socially useful. This is the concrete path to support economic resilience and end global poverty.
