Introduction
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. In the Philippines, as of time of writing, 3,246 people have been infected with 152 fatalities. As a result, the government has declared an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) for the whole island of Luzon, as the cases are concentrated in the area.
The ECQ means that no one is allowed outside their homes except for security and medical personnel and those who work for establishments which provide the essential needs of the public like pharmacies, supermarkets and banks. All forms of mass public transportation are also suspended.
Some private companies have suspended work and adopted a work from home scheme. The sector who would be most affected, though, are the daily wage earners — street vendors, PUV drivers, and construction workers. Without their daily earnings, how will they provide for their families for several weeks? Will they become collateral damage and sacrificial lambs to COVID-19? Let us care for them and not leave them behind.
Beneficiaries
Families of daily wage earners: Street vendors, PUV Drivers, construction workers, etc.

Program Implementation:
The identified beneficiaries from the adopted communities will be given a gift certificate (Puregold) worth PHP 2,000 every 2 weeks for the whole duration of the community quarantine (4 weeks). A suggested list (based on current SRP) from CPHDO will be provided so they will have an option on how to budget the funds.
